Whiteley Electronics Limited is a long established (1926) and highly respected U.K. based company whose skills have ranged from building wireless sets in the early days of public radio, to the design and project management of major integrated electronic systems and their components today.

With our own in-house electronic and software design departments, Whiteley engineers are developing state-of-the-art products that are seen as a revolution in today's passenger transport world. Intelligent systems that can track the position of a train or bus anywhere in the world and report its arrival time to the LED display at the next stop are a reality thanks to our foresight.

Over the last decade Whiteley Electronics engineers have been involved with major projects like the design and installation of the P.A. system for the Channel Tunnel. (Said to be the longest L.L.P.A. system in Europe if not the world). Projects based upon the Global Positioning Satellite system and GSM networks that can locate and identify a train or bus from the other side of the world have been concieved and managed by Whiteley staff.
